Policy analysis and research
EMN Ireland produces research and policy analysis on topics related to international protection and migration as well as comparative analysis on migration trends, legislative, policy developments and policy implementation issues.
- EMN Research Studies offer a comparative analysis of topics of interest to policymakers in relation to migration and asylum. National studies present information at Member State level while synthesis reports provide a European Union overview.
- Annual Policy Reports focus on current migration and asylum-related legislative and political developments in Member States as well as the implementation of European legislation at national level. A synthesis report is also produced which provides an annual overview of developments at EU level.
National network members are informed about EMN activities and support EMN Ireland by supplying information and contributing, on occasion, to research and policy activities. EMN Ireland has a wide range of members including NGOs, international organisations, researchers, public authorities and government departments.
