This report higlights that the government need to recognise that the Direct Provision system is not fit for children. Children should be removed at the first possible opportunity. Direct Provision needs to be replaced by a more fair and equitable system. It also highlights the need for a Government commitment to protection of the best interests of the child in all circumstances.
