This research, by the Migration and Citizenship Research Initiative, UCD, is a detailed study of the integration experiences of four nationality groups in Ireland – the Chinese, Indian, Lithuanian and Nigerian. The aim of the research was to obtain baseline quantitative information about migrants living in Ireland, to acquire qualitative information about migrant integration and identity formation, and to provide a basis for comparative analysis of migrants’ experiences that will inform future policy recommendations. The research looks at the political, economic, social and cultural implications of integration.
