National network

Each EMN National Contact Point (NCP) engages in cooperation with a national network, which comprises organisations and individuals active in the area of migration and international protection, including policymakers, researchers, international and non-governmental organisations. Members of the national networks actively support NCPs by providing information and contributing to policy and research activities.

National networks are a means of ensuring the objectivity of EMN studies and that a broad range of existing information at national level is accessed and made available at EU-level through the EMN. The national network also helps to ensure that the activities of the EMN reflect the priorities of stakeholders at  national level.
