New EMN Ireland resource presents an overview of the application process under International Protection Act 2015

The International Protection Act 2015 came into effect on 30 December 2016. The Act represents a significant development in the area of international protection and reforms the system for determining applications, introducing a single application procedure.

The new EMN Ireland flowchart presents an overview of the various stages under the new single application procedure. It also sets out which government bodies have responsibility for decisions.
